Clint Walker in 1958 with his daughter, Valerie. He was then at the height of his Cheyenne fame which ran from 1955 to 1963.
Born in 1950 Valerie did not follow Clint into the acting profession but became an airline pilot. She was also a flight instructor and worked with Police Air Control in fixed-wing and helicopters, bush pilot in Botswana and a test pilot.
At five feet seven inches she came nowhere close to Clint’s six feet six. But you never got on the wrong side of her. After 9/11 she trained with Special Forces becoming proficient in firearms and a black belt in Kenpo Karate.
