His parents had divorced and so he had court ordered visits to his father Mark Redwine, who lived in La Plata County, a rugged and mountainous area of Southwest Colorado. There are three good reasons. One is, as all the survivors of the Holocaust I interviewed told me, that the slogan "Never again" has become a sick joke, degraded by the genocides in Cambodia (1975-79), Bosnia (1992), Rwanda (1994) and Darfur (2003- today).
