ANOTHER LESSON FROM THE ANIMAL WORLD

In 1996, a newborn baby girl was left in a garbage bin near the city of Calcutta, India. Three friendly street dogs discovered and protected her for nearly two days, even attempting to feed the baby before authorities were contacted and the little girl was rescued.

Locals thought the dogs had gotten hold of someone's clothes and were playing with them, when the owner of the scooter was on his way to work the next day, the dogs started wagging their tails and sat near the cloth, he thought the behavior was strange and when he unwrapped the cloth, he found the newborn baby. The baby girl showed symptoms of jaundice but survived. She was 8-10 days old when this incident occurred.
