What bad thing happened in Zborów (Ukraine) to the Jewish people in 1941?
It is a really terrible and depressing tale of the year of war 1941. It occurred in the small town named Zborow (or Zboriv) in Ukraine.
The horrible incident is included in the now known as the Holocaust by Bullets. It became the earliest instance of the Nazis policy to exterminate all the Jewish.
They had yet not engaged in using big gas chambers. Rather, Eastern Europe was taken over by Germany special soldiers or the SS. They would take Jews families out of their home, driving them into the fields or mass graves where they would shoot them.
Zborow people became victims of this scheme. Once the SS came, they commenced their cruel job. It is recorded that hundreds of Jewish men, women, and children were gunned down and buried in mass graves in the town in 1941.
One of the saddest details is associated with a teenage boy. His whole family was shot in front of his eyes by the inhuman soldiers.
This shows how inhumane the murderers were. This was not a spontaneous move by them but they were on a prepared campaign to cause as much pain as possible. The SS made sure that boy did not have a hope at the end by instilling in him the feeling that his world was falling apart.
This sadistic deed shows how systematic and complete their scheme was: they were to destroy all the individuals and squash any hope. It is a strong depiction of the horror of every Jewish family in that region of Europe.
