It was a beautiful time, miss the freedom of those daysoften!

Maybe today’s young people don’t realize that women from my time—now grandmothers—used to wear miniskirts, tight jeans, tall boots, and even went without bras.

We listened to bands like Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin.

We drove around in Mini Coopers, rode motorcycles, and enjoyed drinks like gin & tonic, whiskey, and tequila.

We went to music festivals, walked through mud, and danced freely with the crowd.

Life felt endless because we didn’t have the internet, smartphones, or social media. TV? We hardly paid attention to it.

Just so you know: you’ll never be as cool as your grandma once was. Someone had to tell you.
