Wherever the Red Army marched in WWII, from Eastern Europe until Germany, Soviet troops brutally raped civilians of all ages. When a Yugoslav ally of Stalin complained, the Russian leader spoke the following bone-chilling words:

“Does Đilas, who is himself a writer, not know what human suffering and the human heart are? Can't he understand it if a soldier who has crossed thousands of kilometers through blood and fire and death has fun with a wench or takes some trifle?”

As many as two million German women were raped by Soviet troops. Stalin didn’t give a shit — rape was just “some fun”. It wasn’t just in Germany, too, but in other nations the Russian passed through, the same happened — which is why a brave fellow Communist from Yugoslavia was bringing the matter to Stalin’s attention in the first place. Many babies were later born, fathered by Soviet troops. German and Eastern European women raised them, pretending the father was a local man. If they had no willing partner to assume responsibility, they and the children resulting in the rape were ostracized by society…
