This is Madam Meherbai Tata, wife of Dorabji Tata. The giant diamond she's wearing is double the size of the Kohinoor. It was presented to her by her husband in 1900. Later in 1921, Dorabji took a loan from bank against that diamond to save Tata steel from financial crisis.

Madam Meherbai Tata died in 1931 at a very young age due to leukemia.

Later her husband sold all her jewellery and ornaments to raise the fund for cancer treatment center. That cancer treatment center today is the Tata Cancer Hospital.
